Minto will again use a mail-in vote for the 2018 municipal election.
The budget for the 2018 election in Minto will be $30,000.
The mail-in vote was used in the last four Minto elections with a voter turnout in 2014 of 56%.
That was the highest turnout in all Wellington County and well above the 50% average for the province.
Mayor George Bridge says people will be hired to count the vote manually, rather than renting a vote tabulator for $16,500.
