Bruce Telecom has launched a public WiFi network in downtown Kincardine. It's in partnership with the Municipality of Kincardine and Kincardine BIA.
The network provides seamless access along Queen St. from Broadway St. to Victoria Park, with additional coverage planned in the future for Harbour St., Station Beach and the marina area along with MacPherson Park.
Users will have the option to access the network as a guest on a limited time and data-based session, or as an existing Bruce Telecom internet customer with unlimited, free access.
It's a service that will keep visitors and residents connected when they are in the downtown.
Bruce Telecom has also launched its new website and new look, which can be viewed by clicking here.
The tagline has changed from "Connecting your World" to "Connecting our Community," as community remains a key focus of the organization.
"We are in a competitive business, with a sophisticated customer base that expects fast and reliable broadband access along with applications for voice and video, exceptional customer care and a commitment to giving back," says Bruce Telecom’s President and CEO Bart Cameron. "We continue towards exceeding those expectations."
