Petrus Palmu scored and set up another as the Owen Sound Attack beat Sault Ste. Marie 4-1 in Game 3 of their OHL Conference Semifinal. The Soo still lead the series 2-1.
Jacob Friend opened the scoring for the Attack at 5:49 of the first on the power play. Kevin Hancock's goal at 12:07 of the second stood as the game winner.
Boris Katchouk answered for the Greyhounds at 18:26 of the middle frame. Sean Durzi added insurance for the Attack at 6:30 of the third and Palmu scored on an empty Greyhounds net in the final 74 seconds of play.
Michael McNiven stopped 22 shots for the win. Joseph Raaymakers made 37 saves for the Soo.
Game 4 is Tuesday night in Owen Sound.
