Man Falls To His Death In Hanover

Hanover police are investigating the death  of a man who fell from a bridge on the west side of Hanover on 10th St.

Police and firefighters were called around 2:30pm Thursday. Investigators say a man fell from the bridge onto a community walking trail and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as a 53-year-old Arran-Elderslie man.

The Hanover Police Service, along with the Coroner’s Office are involved with the investigation and a post mortem has been ordered.

Foul play is not suspected.

The Hanover Police Service is asking for anyone witnesses to contact them.
