High levels of bacteria have been detected in the Flesherton Pond Public Beach area.
Officials have issued a warning that the area is unsafe for swimming.
The results come from water samples collected May 30.
Municipal public swimming areas are tested weekly and sites that demonstrate high levels of bacteria are posted as soon as results are received, which is normally the Friday of each week.
This warning will be in effect at Flesherton Pond Public Beach until sample results show acceptable levels of bacteria as per provincial standards.
