The Harry Potter "Transfigured Town" event may be on it's way to Blyth.
Organizers were in panic mode after there was no firm commitment made by Goderich council regarding the mid-October event.
Goderich officials have not commented on a decision, after close to 9,000 tickets were sold for the two-day event.
With their sights now set on Blyth, organizer Nathan Swartz plead his case to North Huron council Monday night, earning a motion to proceed with planning towards hosting the event at the Blyth Campground on October 14 and 15.
Members of North Huron council said they are excited about the possibilities, and are confident they can reach an agreement shortly.
"Transfigured Town" would draw national attention to Blyth, with organizers saying they expect close to 1,000 people from Quebec to attend, as well as national media outlets covering the event, and a chance to show off the recent improvements around Blyth.
There will be no camping at the event, and no alcohol -- two points which make hosting an event like this run a lot easier in comparison to the alternative.
No tickets will be sold at the door, and no evening events are planned, with most of the action expected to wrap up by 6pm, although food options will remain open.
