Huron County OPP have identified the driver of a fatal single-vehicle crash on a gravel road near Dungannon Tuesday night.
The OPP say 76-year-old William Showers of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh was pronounced dead at the scene after his Ford F-150 pickup truck rolled into the ditch on St. Augustine Line. Showers was ejected from the vehicle when the crash occurred at about 7pm just north of Dungannon Rd.
An autopsy was scheduled to take place Thursday morning in London.
Investigators from the West Region OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Team responded to the scene to assist with the collision investigation.
