The Elmira Expos have cracked the top 10 on the International Softball Congress rankings.
They finished third at the Canada East qualifer. The rankings will be used as the basis for seeding at the ISC World Tournament in Grand Rapids Michigan August 12th-19th.
This weekend five teams from the top 12 on the rankings will face off at the Peter Hallman Memorial Tournament in St. Clements this weekend including the Expos and the number one seeded Hill United Chiefs.
Games start Friday at 7 p.m. when the Kitchener Hallman Cubs face the Expos and the Chiefs battle the Toronto Batmen.
The tournament championship is Sunday at 2 p.m. following a clinic with the Australian Men's National Team.
