Softball Canada and announced the date for its selection camp for the Canadian Junior Men's National Team.
The camp will be from August 21st to 25th in O'Leary P.E.I. and 26 athletes have been invited to compete for a spot on the 2018 roster.
They include Teeswater's Mac Fischer, and Wingham's Mac Mulvey.
More than 200 athletes from across county participated in Provincial and Regional Identification Camps earlier this year and were evaluated on their fitness level, speed, throwing, hitting and general game play.
The WBSC Junior Men's Softball World Championship is July 7-15th, 2018 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
