Perth County Launches New Tourism Brochure

Perth County Tourism is encouraging locals and visitors to discover the county, and enter a selfie contest.

The county has launched a new Discover More brochure, and is working for enhanced social media presence. The new brochure has been distributed across Ontario, at border crossings, and to local businesses.

The photo challenge asks everyone to be on the lookout for the brochure, and let Perth County Tourism know where it's found with a selfie.

Winners will get a basket of Perth County prizes.

Contestants can snap a selfie with the brochure, use the hashtag #DiscoverMore, and tag it @PerthCo Tourism.

“Our page likes and follows have been quickly growing over the past six months,” says Sarah Franklin, tourism specialist with the County of Perth. “We constantly post about local events and unique things to see and do across the County.”

Perth County Tourism can be followed on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @PerthCoTourism.

“The new brochure is a great resource and provides a sample of what there is to see and do here in Perth County,” says Franklin.

The campaign concept came from the idea of encouraging locals and tourists to discover more about the area.
