Andy Shaw of Wingham competed and won silver in the Men's Javelin Throw Para Ambulatory today at the 2017 Canadian Track and Field Championships.
The event began at 11: 00 am and was being live streamed via the Athletics Canada website.
Shaw trains with the Saugeen Shores Track and Field club.
The 2017 Canadian Track and Field Championships are taking place in Ottawa this week. Other STFC athletes competing at the National Championships over the next several days are Madelyn Eyebergen and Emily Branderhorst in high jump, Molly Boley in discus, Hannah Diebold in hammer and Tony Elliott in hammer and discus.
