Ben Lobb's summer baseball camps get underway next week in Clinton and Kincardine.
The Huron-Bruce M-P says the Clinton camp on July 10th and 11th is filled, but there are a few spots for the Kincardine camp on the 12th and 13th so interested parents can go on the Kincardine Minor Baseball Camp.ca web site for more information.
Former Toronto Blue Jays star Jesse Barfield will be the guest instructor at both camps and Lobb's former coach from Tennessee, Mark Brew, will be coaching at both camps.
Lobb says the focus will be on fundamentals like pitching and catching and the mechanics of hitting and throwing and then a little more complicated things on the second day.
Lobb says a lot of parents have told him the camps are a great mid-season tune-up and it helps the kids get ready for the playoffs.
