The Vimy Memorial Flight Stops In Grey and Bruce

The Vimy Flight will make a stop at Owen Sound's Billy Bishop Regional Airport.

The reproduction WW1 biplanes flew in France during the 100th Anniversary of the Vimy Memorial.

The Flight will include a WW1 Nieuport II, a Sopwith Pup and SE5 biplane replicas built to fly over the Canadian Vimy Memorial Ceremony in France April 9th.

The planes are stopping in Owen Sound at the airport named in honour of the famed WW1 flying ace.

The crew will also visit the Billy Bishop Home and Museum.

The public can see the planes on display from noon until 8pm July 12 and from noon until 3:30 pm July 13th.

The group then flies to Kincardine, for a public viewing from 4 to 6pm on the 13th followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7pm.

The planes will fly out at 11 am on July 14th.
