It's believed the break-in took place last Thursday evening or early Friday morning at a residence along Perth Rd. 149.
While the owner was away, the home was forcibly entered, and two firearms and ammunition were taken.
The missing guns are a 12-gauge Remington Wingmaster shotgun and a .22 calibre Ithaca rifle.
Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to contact Perth County OPP.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
