The deputy mayor of Central Huron has an idea to help promote Huron County to people from outside the county.
Dave Jewitt says there are some very well-produced videos on Huron County available online, but people don't see them if they don't specifically look for them.
Jewitt suggests putting portable kiosks with an internet connection in high traffic areas, such as the courthouse or arenas in Huron County. He also suggests taking them outside of the county to get the message out.
He says having the kiosks at all of the International Plowing Matches as well as at various events in places like Kitchener, London and Toronto.
Jewitt says Huron County has a great deal to offer, but they have to do a better job of getting that message out to the people who don't know anything about Huron County.
