Thousands Respond To The Cowbell

Week one was an overwhelming success for the newest business in Blyth.

An estimated 8,000 people have visited Cowbell Brewing Company since it opened to the public on August 7.

Cowbell also hosted a wedding Saturday, which is the first of four scheduled for the remainder of 2017.

The destination at the south end of Blyth is open Sunday to Thursday 11am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 11pm, with limited restaurant seating for opening month.

Cowbell Brewing Company will employ close to 150 people and features the World’s First Closed Loop Brewing System. It's also North America’s First Carbon Neutral Brewery.

"Our goal is to attract guests from all across Canada, the U.S. and around the world. What a tremendous response during our first week, we are off and running," says Grant Sparling, vice president and GM.

Several Cowbell brands are available through the LCBO, The Beer Store, grocery stores, restaurants and pubs.
