The annual Arthur Peachfest dinner takes place Thursday night.
The event, hosted by the Arthur United Church, gets underway at 5pm at the Arthur Community Centre and runs until 7pm. There will be cold turkey, ham, salads, rolls and beverages served, and of course, a large assortment of peach desserts.
Adults are $15, children 7-12 are $6, and children 6 and under are free.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
