A 26-year old Brockton woman is in a London hospital after suffering serious, life-altering injuries west of Walkerton.
Emergency personnel were called to a collision involving a pedestrian on Concession 2 Monday afternoon around 1pm.
Police say a Dodge Ram pick-up truck hauling an enclosed farm trailer was travelling eastbound on the concession, when a pedestrian entered the travelled portion of the roadway into the path of the vehicle.
The driver of the truck, a 39-year-old man from Mildmay, was not hurt and police say he was not at fault.
Police have not released any names.
