Two Hurt In Crash Near Blyth

A Goderich woman is recovering from serious injuries after a crash northeast of Blyth.

It happened on Clyde Line between Cranbrook Rd. and St. Michael's Rd. just before 7:30pm Tuesday night.

Police say a Chevrolet Impala collided with a tree in the northbound ditch. Both the driver and the passenger were able to free themselves from the vehicle and were waiting nearby when emergency crews arrived.

A 26-year old Goderich woman was taken to a hospital in London with serious but non-life threatening injuries, while a 35-year old man from Seaforth was treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

The police report did not specify who the driver was.
