Bruce Power's Annual Golf Tournament Raises $25k for United Way

Bruce Power employees took advantage of summer-like weather last Friday to raise money for the United Way of Bruce Grey through their annual golf tournament.

About 180 employees took to Ainsdale Golf Course and the Saugeen Golf Club for a four-player scramble.

They raised a total of $25,000 for the local organization.

"Our employee tournament is a fun day on the golf course that has the added benefit of raising funds for a very worthy cause as the United Way prepares for the winter season, which can be difficult for many local residents," said Chris Mercanti, Section Manager, Community & Indigenous Relations.
