A special meeting was held at the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine Wednesday, where the proposed conversion of Bruce Telecom to a Municipal Services corporation was discussed.
Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie confirmed that while both Bruce Telecom and the Natural Gas Project were discussed during the meeting, all information is being withheld until public sessions in the future.
The agenda for Wednesday's meeting stated that council would be "considering advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications for that purpose [Natural Gas Project and Proposed Conversion of Bruce Telecom to a Municipal Services Corporation] and personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees [Candidates for the Bruce Telecom Board of Directors]."
