A Stokes Bay resident has won a million dollars in Lotto Max. Janina Michalczyk won a max million in the September 22nd draw. She says she only checked the jackpot number online and didn't think she had won. But later she used a ticket checker and learned she was a big winner. She showed her husband who started shouting with joy, before they called their three sons. She says they will now be mortgage free and plan to buy a luxury SUV. The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Clarke Side Road in London. “Winning the lottery feels like ‘phew!’ I feel free with no burdens and look forward to relaxing and enjoying all the days to come,” concluded Janina.
