GOJHL Wrap-up: Early Leads Help Warriors and Sugar Kings Win

Stratford 11 Waterloo 1

Sean Ross scored a hat trick as part of a six goal first period and the Stratford Warriors topped Waterloo 11-1.

Ross also had an assist in the opening frame and Connor Gregga scored and set up three more, also in the just the first period.

Graham Brulotte had a goal and two assists in the game. Kaleb Pearson had a pair of goals. Other scorers: Corson Searles and Evan Dowd.

The Siskins lone goal was a short handed one by Matthew Prucha six minutes into the third period.

The Warriors out shot the Siskins 47-35

Elmira 5 Kitchener 1

Ryan Takamatsu scored twice in the first period and again in the second for a natural hat trick in the Elmira Sugar Kings 5-1 win over Kitchener.

Ben Morris answered for the Dutchmen with just four second remaining in the second period to make it 3-1 Elmira heading into the third.

Mason McMahon and Jeff Jordan scored in the final period for the Sugar Kings.

Tyler Mazzocato topped 39 shots for the win. Riley Daniels made 32 saves for the Dutchmen.
