A ground search started this morning for a missing senior citizen near Lion's Head.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were contacted by a family member Monday evening, reporting that 87-year-old Russell Ferguson of Lions Head was missing.
A friend last spoke with Ferguson by phone Sunday evening. His vehicle was found at the end of Moore St. in Lions Head.
Members of the OPP Emergency Response Team are leading a search of a wooded area, including a section of the Bruce Trail. A K9 unit is also part of the search.
Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to contact the Bruce Peninsula OPP.
