United Way Perth Huron Painting The Town Red

The United Way of Perth Huron is again getting ready to paint the town red. The United Way hopes to promote local shopping, build awareness and raise money for their annual campaign. 36 businesses took part last year, and more are expected to get involved this year. The program gives local business a chance to engage with their community, and give back. Each business chooses a unique donation approach, from a special feature to a percentage of sales. “It’s exciting that Paint the Town Red is happening again,” Tami Stratton, North Perth Community Committee member and owner of Diana Sweets in Listowel says. “United Way helps support so many programs and services in our community. They’ve positively affected so many people’s lives, including my family. I’m looking forward to giving back through my business.”
