Vulnerable Persons Registry For Saugeen Shores

Police in Saugeen Shores are now accepting submissions for a new Vulnerable Persons Registry.

It's a database of residents or seasonal visitors who may have a physical, cognitive, intellectual or developmental disability who may require emergency assistance due to their condition.

The registry allows for faster police response if there is ever an incident where they are considered missing or at risk of misadventure.

Registration forms are available at the Saugeen Shores police station, or from the website www.saugeenshorespolice.com.

The registry's community partners also have forms. The partners include Alzheimer Society Grey Bruce, Autism Ontario Bruce-Grey, Hampton Court, Elgin Lodge, and Southampton Care Centre.
