Wightman Brings Fibre Optic Internet To All Of Stratford

Wightman Telecom made a big announcement over Facebook on Tuesday that will see Fibre Optic Internet made available at every home and business across the city.

President & CEO Rob Figliuzzi says the project will see over 300 km of fibre optic cable installed up-and-down the streets of Stratford, at a cost of approximately $45-million.

Figliuzzi says fibre is a "future-proof technology", and will allow growth when businesses or homes require more internet in the future.

The project will be the only fibre available to all homes and businesses in the city.
