More Snow in Midwestern Ontario Forecast

A back-to-school and back-to-work Monday could be a slow one.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for these regions of Midwestern Ontario:

  • Goderich - Bluewater - Southern Huron County
  • Wingham - Blyth - Northern Huron County
  • Bruce Peninsula - Sauble Beach - Tobermory
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County
The weather agency says these areas could see 10cm to 20cm of new snow by Monday morning, as a low-pressure system sits over southern Ontario.

The snow will most likely affect areas east and northeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Also, southwest winds gusting to 60km/hr are possible, resulting in blowing and drifting snow which could reduce visibility and make travel difficult.
