GOJHL Wraps Up Regular Season

Brampton 3 Listowel 2 (OT)

Jakob Lee sent the game into overtime with a power play goal early in the third but Listowel couldn't come up with the game winner, falling 3-2 to Brampton in overtime.

Hughie Sheppard scored the game winner for the Bombers just 2:40 into the extra frame.

Brampton scored back to back goals less than six minutes apart in the first period to take a 2-0 lead. Chayse Herrfort put the Cyclones on the board before the period was over.

Travis Smith earned the with with 29 saves. Evan Reinhart stopped 34 for the Cyclones.

The Cyclones will face the Guelph Hurricanes in first round of the GOJHL playoffs.

Elmira 4 Brantford 3 (OT)

Elmira let a a two goal lead slip but managed to defeat Brampton 4-3 in overtime.

Marcel Berube scored the game winner just over four minutes into the extra frame.

Ryan Takamatsu scored early in the first and Berube put the Sugar Kings up 2-0 before the period was over.

Christian Polillo scored back-to-back goals in the second to tie the game and TJ Hughes' power play goal at 8:27 of the third gave the 99er's a 3-2 lead.

Ethan Skinner tied the game with less than two minutes to go in regulation.

Jeremey Goodwin had three assists in the win.

Rhett Kimmel made 36 saves for Elmira. Mat Woroniuk stopped 33 shots for the 99ers.
