Corey Conners was the low Canadian at the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship. Conners finished with a 10-under 278 and in a tie for 13th, his best finish yet on the PGA Tour.
The Listowel native was in second place after the opening round with an 8-under 64. He followed that up with a 1-under 71 in round 2; 5-under 67 in round 3; and a 4-over 76 in his final round.
The PGA Tour Rookie has yet to finished in the top ten at a tour event but is showing ever stronger play.
American Brice Garnett won his first PGA Tour victory with an 18-under 270.
