A Wingham man has a video court appearance in Goderich on April 18.
Kevin Carter, 56, was in court Wednesday to face new charges that stem from a double-murder near Wroxeter that occurred late last week.
He was originally charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The additional charges are sexual assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
The bodies of a man and a woman were found at a home on C Line between Bluevale and Wroxeter last Thursday morning. Another woman in the house was treated in hospital for injuries.
Because of a court-imposed publication ban, none of the names can be broadcast or published.
