Advanced Imaging Technology For Kincardine Hospital

The Kincardine hospital's new x-ray equipment is up and running.

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre was able to purchase the advanced technology because of the fundraising efforts of the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.

The foundation covered the full cost of the $435,000 purchase for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

The new x-ray moves into position automatically when imaging a patient, taking the fastest and safest route. It provides consistent images and allows the technologist to focus on the comfort and safety of the patient.

"This is incredible technology that will significantly enhance diagnostic services for our patients in the Kincardine community," says Paul Rosebush, president and CEO. "We are sincerely grateful that the Kincardine Foundation continues to support us in providing quality health care, close to home. They are valued partners, and we appreciate everyone in the community that has made this possible."
