Arrest Made In Seaforth Pharmacy Robbery

A Goderich man remains in custody in connection with a robbery that took place Monday afternoon in Seaforth.

Shortly after noon, a man entered Keating's Pharmacy, produced a knife, and demanded medication from the pharmacist.

A Huron County OPP officer who was nearby received a 911 call and responded quickly. The suspect was arrested without incident.

Officers later determined the knife used in the robbery was shoplifted from the nearby Dollar Haven minutes before the robbery.

Cory Hodges, 30, of Goderich has been charged with theft under $5,000, carrying a concealed weapon, and robbery with a weapon.

He will make a video appearance in Goderich court Wednesday.
