Listowel's Corey Conners earned his first top ten finish of his rookie PGA Tour season with a 9-under 271 at the Fort Worth Invitational. That's good for a tie for 8th place.
Conners vaulted 76 places from his opening round of 1-over 71.
The 26-year-old rallied with a 2-under 68 in his second round; a blistering 7-under 63 in his third round; and finished with a 1-under 69 in his final round.
Fellow Canadian Ben Silverman finished tied for 11th at 8-under 272. Mackenzie Hughes was 4-under 276 and finished tied for 42. Adam Hadwin was 3-under 277 and tied for 52nd.
