A Palmerston man is facing sexual assault charges involving a person under the age of 16.
The OPP received a complaint last week about an assault on a young person. The individual under investigation is not a stranger to the youth's family.
As a result of the police investigation, a 34-year-old Palmerston man has been charged with sex assault, sexual interference, and sexual exploitation to a person under the age of 16.
Police determined that incidents have been occurring over a period of time.
The unidentified man is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on July 24.
