UPDATE: Driver Seriously Injured In Bruce County Crash

One driver is seriously injured after a crash in Bruce County Saturday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police say it happened shortly before 2pm on Bruce County Rd. 3 in Elderslie Township with two vehicles involved.

When officers arrived on scene they found one driver with serious, life-threatening injuries. The driver has been airlifted to a London hospital.

Rd. 3 was closed at Concession 8 and Concession 12 in Elderslie Township for over seven hours while investigators complete their work. The Saugeen Bluffs campground road was also closed.

The stretch of road was reopened around 9:30pm Saturday.

The investigation is ongoing.
