North Huron Reeve Seeks Third Term

Neil Vincent has filed his nomination papers to seek a third term as North Huron's reeve.

Vincent says the last four years have been tough for the municipality, but he feels his experience gained over incidents, like the brief firefighter's strike, is something voters can have confidence in.

When asked about ongoing projects or initiatives he wanted to see during another term as Reeve, Vincent would not get specific, but did say, "there's some drastic changes that really affect the municipality on a high level".

Former councillor Bernie Bailey is currently the only other person with nomination papers filed to seek the reeve's chair in North Huron.

The deadline to file nomination papers for this year's municipal election is 2pm on Friday, July 27.
