'Swing By Chepstow' This Weekend

"Swing by Chepstow" is the slogan, and a lot of people are expected to do just that this weekend as Chepstow 2018 Homecoming gets underway.

Organizers have already seen some success for the event as supper tickets are sold out. But there are still tickets available for breakfasts and the dances.

Fireworks are scheduled for Friday night at 9:45pm and the Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Saturday morning at 11am.

The Chepstow 2018 Homecoming has been put together by many volunteers with 28 committees making sure the details are worked out. And organizers aimed to host events for all ages with most events taking place at Chepstow Lion's Park.

There is also a focus on softball. For 50 years the Chepstow Aces have represented the community, one of the longest standing softball teams in Ontario.

An alumni game is being played on Sunday at 2pm.
