A Grey Highlands man remains in police custody after an alleged aggravated assault on Thursday.
Grey County OPP were called to a residence on Toronto Street East in Markdale for a man suffering from injuries. Upon arrival, a second man was arrested while the injured male was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they have charged 18-year-old Slade Russell of Grey Highlands with Aggravated Assault section 268 of the Criminal Code of Canada. He remains in custody and will have a bail hearing in Owen Sound on Monday.
