Grey Highlands Mayor Elected To AMO Board

A Grey County councillor is getting more involved in the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.

Paul McQueen has been elected to the County Caucus of the AMO Board of Directors.

McQueen has been Mayor of Grey Highlands for the last four years, and is seeking re-election this fall. He served as deputy mayor of the Municipality from 2010 to 2014. He's been a county councillor since 2010.

As a member of the AMO Board, Paul McQueen will help set policy for the association and serve as a key municipal leader.

"AMO benefits from membership from across the province, and a board that reflects the diversity of Ontario’s municipal governments. To that end, I am pleased to have Paul on the 2018- 2020 board team," said AMO President Jamie McGarvey.

AMO is a non-profit organization representing almost all of Ontario’s 444 municipal governments.
