Wellington North will move ahead with a municipal-wide study of pedestrian safety.
Councillor Dan Yake asked for the study in order to identify problem areas for pedestrians and to determine how to make things better for walkers. It could include the addition of crosswalks, traffic signals, and changes to speed limits.
One high priority area is Main Street North in Mount Forest with the opening of the new Canadian Tire store.
