The municipality is preparing to create a new strategic plan for the years 2019 to 2022, as the current plan that began in 2012 winds down. The document will help define future goals and lay out a plan to get there.
People can have their say at three public workshop sessions planned for Wednesday, December 5 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex in Listowel.
A morning session from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. is open for volunteer and service group leaders. Business representatives are invited to speak between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and residents can talk about the plan between 6:30 p.m. and 9 pm.
You can also provide feedback through the Municipality's online engagement platform Your Say North Perth (www.yoursaynorthperth.ca) from Monday, November 26, 2018, until Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Mark Mullaly of Interthink Consulting will assist in the strategic planning process for Perth County municipalities.
