OHL Wrap: Storm and Knights earn wins

Guelph 8 Kitchener 1

The Kitchener Rangers opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game before the Storm took over, scoring eight unanswered goals to beat Kitchener 8-1.

Cam Hillis led the Storm with a pair of goals and an assist. Keegan Stevenson scored twice and Barret Kirwin and Daniil Chayka scored and set up two each.

Ryan Merkley set up three for Guelph.

Lucas Pfeil took the loss for the Rangers, making just 22 saves. Anthony Popovich stopped 27 shots for the win.

London 6 Sarnia 3

Adam Boqvist scored and set up another in London's 6-3 win over Sarnia.

Josh Nelson also had a goal and an assist in the win.

Antonio Stranges goal less than midway through the third would stand as the game winner. Evan Bouchard, Alec Regula and Liam Foudy also scored for the Knights.

Franco Sproviero scored twice for the Sting and Ryan McGregor notched one in the loss.
