Provincial police have arrested one person and are seeking two other suspects in connection with a "threat with a weapon" incident in Wiarton.
Two people in an apartment on Berford Street in Wiarton reported to police that they were threatened with a weapon by three other men last Friday night. No one was physically harmed.
Police arrested a 20-year-old male from Georgian Bluffs on Tuesday. He was charged with robbery with intent, mischief under $ 5,000, failing to comply with a probation order, and two counts of breaching recognizance. He has been held in custody until his next court date Thursday.
Police have not identified the other two men involved, however, the first suspect is described as a male around 5'6" tall, with a skinny build. The other male suspect is around 5'8" tall, with a skinny build, a receding hairline, and was last seen wearing a t-shirt with a colourful jersey over top, basketball shorts and a flat-brimmed cap.
Members of the Bruce Peninsula OPP and Grey County are investigating.
Police officials said there is no evidence to suggest that there is any threat to the public.
