The Board of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit and its unionized members have voted in favour of a new two-year agreement.
The Board of Health ratified the agreement at its meeting Friday. Members of the Ontario Public Service Employes Union Local 276 voted Thursday to accept the offer.
The contact, beginning January 1st, 2019, honours the provincial public sector message of fiscal restraint with wage increases of .5 percent in each of the next two years.
The agreement also includes a signing bonus and makes adjustments in contract language.
