Some changes to some local New Year's Eve celebrations.
The town of Minto has cancelled outdoor activities planned for tonight, except for the fireworks, which will go at 8 pm.
The City of Owen Sound New Year's Eve Party will not involve swimming, due to a mechanical error that has closed the pool.
There are still plenty of activities for families to enjoy between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Activities include skating, playtime in the gym, entertainment by Klash the Clown, a dance zone, cookie decorating, games, crafts, and an area to decorate wooden cars, then race them down the Scouts’ racetrack.
The evening celebrations will conclude with a countdown and massive balloon drop at 6:30 PM
