Central Huron is hosting a kick-off party for it's "Win This Space" competition later this month.
They have over 20 contestants this year.
Community Improvement Officer Angela Smith said the kick-off party will be held in the upstairs auditorium of the Clinton Town Hall.
"They will be introduced with their business idea. It's more of a mix and mingle style of event, so we won't be putting them on the spot to do a pitch of any sort, but we would like them all to meet each other and meet the judges and be welcomed by Central Huron and the public."
The winner will be announced at the Grand Finale on May 17. That event is also being held in the Clinton Town Hall auditorium.
"The winner gets to pick the space from seven available storefronts and they will get to choose based on what they think is best for their style of business," said Smith.
