OHL: Knights and Storm sweep series to advance to second round

Guelph 5 Kitchener 1

The Guelph Storm topped Kitchener 5-1 in Game 4 to sweep their first round OHL playoff series.

MacKenzie Entwistle opened the scoring 15 minutes into the game. Nick Suzuki's goal at 14:11 of the second would stand as the game winner.

Cedric Ralph added insurance at 4:22 of the third. Alexey Toropchenko extended the Storm's lead with back-to-back goals including an unassisted empty netter.

Rickard Hugg was the lone scorer for the Kitchener Rangers.

London 5 Windsor 2

Adam Boqvist struck twice and Alex Formenton set up four of the Knights goals as London topped Windsor 5-2 to sweep their first round series in four games.

William Lochead and Kevin Hancock also scored for London.

Connor Corcoran and Tyler Angle scored for the Spitfires.
