About 1,200 students got some hands-on experience with science, technology, engineering, arts, and math on Friday.
All Bruce-Grey Catholic District students in Grades 3 through 6 are attended the annual STEAM Faire at the P&H Centre in Hanover.
Students rotated through over 70 stations throughout the day including hands-on workshops, activities, and demonstrations.
The students explored 8Bit Painting, Nature Call Bingo, Slime and creating water filters. The students also worked together to create a Collaborative art piece.
Bruce Power employees volunteered to mentor selected high school students, and together developed all of the activities. Minister of Education Lisa Thompson, was on hand to greet the secondary students.
