Adults considering going back to college can access some one-on-one assistance during an event tonight at all of the campus locations including Owen Sound.
The so-called "Get Help to GO Back" event offers participants an opportunity to connect with college admissions, recruitment and financial aid staff.
People can speak to a career consultant, get one-on-one support with program research, college applications, financial aid requests, and more.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. If you RSVP online you can find out how to access complimentary parking.
"Our knowledgeable and friendly student recruitment team is here to provide adults in the community who have been out of school for a while with ideas and information about how to take their next step,” said Kailey Hawkins, manager of student recruitment at Georgian. “We’ve created Get Help to Go Back to make the process easier for mature learners. The event is beneficial for those who are thinking of training for a new career, but aren’t sure where to start.”
Participants are welcome to bring family and friends. Parking is free for Get Help to Go Back guests. You will receive detailed instructions about how to access complimentary parking when you RSVP online.
